The SDFSC Membership System uses Entryeeze to manage the process. All processing fees are included in the prices; no additional fees will be charged for credit cards.
NOTE: When entering data, do NOT use commas, apostrophes, ampersands, or carriage returns in ANY text fields!!!
Please allow extra days for manual processing of membership applications! U.S. Figure Skating is NOT automatically updated, but is done one-by-one by Volunteers.
RENEWING MEMBERS:
- Go to SDFSC Membership System
- Select “Access my account”
- Select “Apply/Renew” tab (at top of page)
- Select the appropriate Membership-Type from dropdown list (see details below),
Then click on “Renew” (at right)
>> repeat for each renewing members of your family- selecting “Process another family member”
- Then select “Go to shopping cart & complete checkout”
- From here the system will lead you through the checkout process.
NEW MEMBERS
(joining SDFSC for the first time, including transfers from other clubs):
- Go to SDFSC Membership System
- Select “Apply for membership” for joining SDFSC for the first time, including transfers from other clubs.
- Select “Login to existing Family account” (if another family member already has an account)
OR Select “Create a new family account” - Enter all requested info, then click “Save personal information”.
The system will send you an email titled “Welcome — your new membership“, click on the included link in the email, and it will ask you to create your password.
>> Repeat the process for each family member wishing to join SDFSC by selecting “Add new family member” - Select “Apply/Renew” tab (at top of page)
- Select the appropriate Membership Type from the dropdown list (see details below), then click on “Apply” (at right).
NOTE: use “…Addl…” for siblings/families living in the same household - From here the system will lead you through the checkout process.
Membership-Type Info:
- Members will be classified as either Junior (under 18) or 18plus (18 or over).
- 1st Members are Returning members or Transfers from another club
(i.e. have a previous USFS membership, even expired years ago),
only ONE 1st Member per family (siblings & spouses use -Addl type)
- Introductory memberships are only available to those who:
– have NEVER been a member of ANY U.S. Figure Skating home club
– are Learn To Skate members upgrading to a U.S. Figure Skating membership.
- Additional (Addl) memberships are available for siblings, spouses, or family members living in the same household.
- Coach memberships are available if you are a USFS Coach (18 or over).
- Parent memberships are available to parents, grandparents, or legal guardians of member.
- Learn To Skate (LTS) memberships are for recreational skaters to participate
in exhibitions and LTS competitions.
-LTS members cannot have a previous U.S. Figure Skating membership.
-LTS members are NOT eligible for U.S. Figure Skating testing at any level.

- Collegiate memberships
This is a four-year full membership at a very reduced rate for college members
(a 65% savings on full membership over 4 years).
-Can sign up any year while in college; good for a consecutive four-year period
-May only use this option ONCE in your skating career.
-Carries the same privileges as a full member, including a subscription to SKATING magazine, and all testing and competition rights.
