  • 2021 Fiesta Skate

  • Congratulations & Good Luck

    ​​Congratulations to all SDFSC skaters who participated in the USFS Virtual Celebration of Competitive Skating in February.  A virtual event where videos were submitted for Juvenile/Intermediate Free Skate or Free Dance.  A special congratulations to the skaters who qualified for the National High Performance Development Team:

    • Olivia Mendoza/ Aiden Elswick 2nd out of 9 in Juvenile-Intermediate Pairs.
    • Luana Stein, associate member 2nd out of 162 skaters in Intermediate Ladies 11-13-year-olds. 

    The first in-person competition will be the Fiesta Skate 2021 held in Peoria, AZ to be held April 15th-18th, 2021. The SDFSC has 14 members registered to compete.  To help keep them safe on their trip there, and to return safely, SDFSC has ordered each of the skaters and coaches going an SDFSC logo mask with filter inserts (will be delivered 🤞 to the coaches) :

    US Virtual Aerial Figure Skating Challenge

    At the US Virtual Aerial Figure Skating Challenge, athletes from around the country represented their club. SDFSC was represented by:

    Our team earned 4th Place out of 46 clubs competing! Congratulations for representing our club so well!!!

  • Syncho Teams off to Nationals

    We wish the best of luck for a great skate to our members and alumni who are traveling to the U.S. Synchronized Figure Skating Championships (Nationals) this week (February 26-29th) in Providence, Rhode Island.

    We also have SDFSC alumni going including the Buddies on the Senior Cystallettes, Ms. Kate Liang on the University of Michigan Collegiate, and Ms. Julie Nelson on Miami University Collegiate.

  • Christopher Caluza competed at 2019 Nebelhorn Trophy

    One of our current SDFSC members, Christopher Caluza, competed at 2019 Nebelhorn Trophy in Germany last weekend, at Senior Men’s level (representing the Philippines) and finished in 7th place (out of 18). Full results here.

  • Skate La Grande Volunteers Needed

    Each year to have a successful competition that the competitors enjoy, the officials are made comfortable, sets the stage to have bigger and more successful competitions in future years.

    Our SDFSC synchronized skaters had amazing trip to Kalamazoo, Michigan for the Pacific Coast Synchronized Sectionals.
