  • Living the Dream: On the Ice, On the Air with the Buddie Twins

Living the Dream: On the Ice, On the Air with the Buddie Twins

Nicole and Victoria Buddie are redefining what it means to chase your dreams—on and off the ice.

As identical twins, their bond has always been strong, but it’s their shared passion for figure skating and journalism that has truly set them apart. Currently, Nicole and Victoria are both professional TV reporters and proud members of the Hayden Select Elite 12 synchronized skating team. Balancing their demanding careers in media with the elite-level rigor of synchronized skating is no easy feat, but the Buddie Twins have found a way to merge their two worlds beautifully.

Their story is one of perseverance, time management, and deep love for the sport. Whether reporting breaking news on-air or performing intricate formations on the ice, the twins approach each with dedication and grace. They’re not just skating for medals—they’re skating for the joy of it, for the lifelong friendships, and for the dream that began when they first laced up their skates as little girls.

Their journey proves that passion doesn’t have to take a back seat to career success. For the Buddie Twins, it’s all about making space for both—and living the dream, together.
